Five Commandments to be Popular on Social Media in India

Join Facebook Page of Scaling New Heights Blog
Here are five unwritten rules to be popular in Indian social media world
  • Bash all politicians except Narendra Modi. If you whack Congress President Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi or Home Minister P Chidambaram or HRD Minister Kapil Sibal you get bonus points and become instant darling of the online media.
  • Announce to the whole world that Narendra Modi is the “savior” of India and should shout that earlier he becomes the Prime Minister of India, better for India.
  • Make every one believe daily that Dr Subramania Swamy is man of principle.
  • Team Anna can do no wrong. If some wrongdoing of Team Anna is revealed in media use the social media and proclaim that it is the smear campaign of politicians and UPA government as Team Anna can do no wrong.
  • Forward/Retweet/Share all trash messages without checking the authority that criticizes any one who is opposed to JanLokpal Bill.
Now on a side note – I always wonder – how many of those who are so active in the social sites hitting out at politicians have actually gone out and voted? How many of those who signed up for Anna’s “Jail Bharo Andolan” will be exercising their franchise in the coming elections? I know of my friend in US who has signed up for this “Jail Bharo Andolan”. Sitting in the luxury of your house and office and tweeting is very easy but unless all these “online activist” actually participate in the democratic process, concrete change is not going to happen.

Fantasic blog sir..It was sharp and straight as an arrow..this has been happening in almost all social networking sites for the past few months..especially among the youths who blindly followed the media and imbibed a false nationalism..people never cared to know the truth or to have an independent opinion..it shows how pathetic our national attitude is..
Thanks for the insightful blog sir..JAI HIND!

Social media is more democratic than any other form of media and that opinion of urban-techsavvy segment
is getting reflected in it...

1.Admiration of modi on social media is the reaction to the excessive smear campaign of the conventional media and congress against modi.

2.Anna has taken over the imagination of urban india, this college going class may be averse to go out of their way to protest on street but is more than willing to express their solidarity with Anna's cause on social media which is becoming a parallel society for them.

It is a re entry a political drama staged by Sngh Parivar putting poor Jayaprakasji in front years back, again. Then they started the anti corruption stir against Chiman Bhai Patel, CM of Gujarat and Abdul Gafoor CM of Bihar, the then Congress Chief Ministers. After emergency when the Janata Party was born the same Patel and Gafoor were in Janata Party. And the same Chiman Bhai became the Janata Party CM of Gujarat. Ha Ha Ha. Adbul Gafoor is still the leader of Nidhish Kumar's Party, constituent of NDA led by BJP. Ha Ha Ha. Now Anna. He says 150 MPs are goondas. Of which parties? Of course all parties. If so, why does he campaign against Congress only in state elections? The answer is clear. His sponsors sets the tune and he dances to it.

Why these things are popular in Social media,
the reason is Simple The news & Electronic media is not giving or not represent their intentions or their views...

Since it is a Sudo secular Media....

In the similar manner to ur blogpost..
To become hero in Electronic Media or news Media (i.e Christian media)
Just bash Narendra modi.... it's enough for them...
RIP to the author...

This blog says about the people. Not the about what they told.

This is the problem with almost all pseudo intellectuals in kerala.
They go by the poeple. They don't go by the content(what they say).

Even though Modi is an extremist hindu, or BJP, if someone praises his good things, he is PRO-BJP or PRO-Modi.

When someone praises Subramanian Swamy's role on the investigation of 2G spectrum scam, he is praising the Subramanian Swamy as man of principle.

When some one praises team anna who made the corruption issue into national limelight, who made the parliament to extend its session for 3 days, then he says team anna can do no wrong.

When some one criticizes Chidambaram's and Kapil Sibal's arrogance then he is anti-Congress.

No Wonder, we supported harthal for Saddam Hussain's hanging.

First study to go by what people say instead of go by who says...

Try to understand that even a bad man can speak some valuable things...
Get mature...

I am surprised that the firing squad hasn't trained the gun at you at. 3 out 6 is a pleasant surprise.

Also, to these simple minds, it is ok whatever is being done to "others" as long as Modi says or even does stuff that they like. It doesn't matter the "others" are citizens of Gujarat/India as well.

I have recorded my disdain for Team Anna and their gargantuan and impracticable Jan Lokpal elsewhere. So i will not go into that right now. But what is sad is that the youth of this country can still be so easily misled by someone with dictatorial tendencies garbed in Gandhi's attire. Funny, there was a comment that says look at what they say instead who says that. I would sincerely suggest that they take heed of who says what and moreover, if they really mean what they say and who/what is behind them.

I am sure the same supporters saw him walk out of a press conference, yet again. I am sure he understands that journalists can question him. They are not stenographers to just take down what he says. Anyways, what do i know, I am but a pseudo-secular stooge of the christian media.
