Thoughts on H1B Visa
During the 20th anniversary of H1B visa Computerworld magazine published a special report on H1B visa. Here are my views on H1B visa as published in the article “H1B: The voices behind the visa”. Thanks to Tracy Mayor of Computerworld for giving me this opportunity.Labels: Computerworld, H1B Visa, Interview

Hey.. Nice viewpoint.. I graduated from ASU too.. Am applying to ISB now.. hoping to move back to India.. I had a decent experience with H1B, until got laid off. Honestly I'm tired of the work limitations due to H1b. Wanted to start a company here, but can't do that. Wanted to switch careers, but need a degree in that career so visa can be sponsored. Too much hassle.
I read the article and there is a good mix of experiences.
There seem to be more consultancies that cheat & lie and there are more foreigners that need a job in spite of whether they are qualified for it or not.
H1B is not a big deal until you don't have any issues but the moment there is an issue, you could be brutally reminded that you do not belong there no matter the luxuries & comforts it can offer.
