Ranjith deserved an award for Thirakkatha I thought Adoor may bag it due to his canvassing and old reputation
Renjith has done some brave attempts to revive Malayalam movie in Thirakkatha, Paleri Manikya and Kerla Cafe.
This award may be an inspiration for him. Some excellent dialogues in Thirakkatha still haunts me.
Number of hindi movies getting more national awards is a testament to their improving quality.
