A must watch video of the terrorist attack in Mumbai last November by award-winning flm maker Dan Reed. This documentary titled "Dispatches - Terror in Mumbai" was aired in UK few days back by Channel IV. It unfolds the story of 2008 terrorist attack in the words of the victims and the lone surviving gunman. It is sad to even think that 10 terrorist can take a great country like India for a ride. Hopefully this terrorist attack will be an eye opener to the security forces of our country so that they are better prepared next time when some fools try to send terrorists to disrupt normal life of the peace loving people of India. Typical British political correctness. I'm surprised that they used the word "terrorist" and not "militant".
Well..this video seems to be an accurate account of the happenings.However,it doesnt seem to talk much about the Hotel Taj seige,which held centerstage. Also I feel terrorism has no religion,so to pin these attacks on Islam is foolishness. No one is born a terrorist.No religion preaches violence.Also,the operation seems to be pretty amateur in that the gunmen were mindless zombies doing the biding of their "controllers". Only the Indian security forces can be blamed for this and more documentaries need to be made about why they failed and what creates terrorists.
What has India done in response to this? I don't see any.
