Meet T Rajendar - Thick Skinned Dumbass

EMAIL THIS PAGE

Any time I see these videos I cannot help stop laughing. This guy thinks that the whole world revolves around him. He is known for his unique style of acting, dancing and dialogue delivery but for me his movies are a complete package of senseless comedy. He is none other than T Rajender, the actor cum director cum screen play writer cum producer cum cinematographer cum choreographer cum play back singer. When ever I see his movies or his interviews I always use to think – doesn’t this guy have any common sense?
I am pretty much sure that you people could have seen almost all these videos. Most of these videos are very popular with YouTube users with hits close to or over 100,000. Here is one such clip. Here T Rajendar is acting as a lawyer and arguing a case in a court. See T Rajendar’s English and his style – May be all those students who are preparing for TOEFL should see his movies to improve their vocabulary.
Now here is his style – see how T Rajender does a fight scene. May be Jackie Chan should learn a thing or two from this guy.
Another one that shows T Rajendar’s unique style of acting and style
If T Rajendar does some seriousl scenes it will surely turn out to be another comedy. Here is a scene from his latest movie Veerasamy that was a great flop.
This video is one of the most viewed ones of T Rajendar. It happened in real life. He was conducting a press conference and a journalist asked him why his public meeting in Madurai was attended by very less number of people? This question hurt his ego and sees what all T Rajendar shouts back. This guy is shameless.
Here is another video – one of T Rajendar’s interviews where he boasts about himself. I have seen people boast about themselves but never to this extend. Watch this one to see how T Rajendar is trying to self promote himself.
Another of T Rajendar’s video in YouTube that has more than 100,000 hits - here he is singing in one of the TV shows.
He has tried his luck in politics also. Recently T Rajendar has contested the Lok Sabha elections and lost his deposit. He shouts his views about most of the political issues in the state of Tamil Nadu and here is one such one.
There are umpteen numbers of jokes about T Rajendar and even after all these this man never understands that he is making himself a laughing stock. Let us pray that good sense prevail and he stops making these kinds of atrocious movies and give ridiculous speeches.
Here is the latest one. Instant African Music.

Useless blog. actually T R is one of the most talented artists around. you have never watched his movies. he was one of few artists who gave so many hit films in 80s and 90s. he was 2 time MLA and got more than 40k votes against jayalalitha in 91 assembly election in Bargur constituency. some of these vedios you posted in this blog are funny but that doesnt reflect his entire film career.

Brijesh,
I knew some one is going support him due to your personnal and caste based bais. No body denies his excellence during 80s and 90s. But just because you were(T.R) popular once upon a time doesn't mean that you make a mockery of yourself and blabber something in front of the media to boast yourself....Its one thing to come to fame and it is another thing to maintain the image after that....and by behaving like a crack in public media you reach your all time low.. Apart from the comedies scenes posted in the blog I think thats what brijesh is trying to point out..

I would support Thiru's point. T.R. had his high points in his career in the 80s and after that hes just been milking his past success and now its been so long since his glory days that now everybody assumes he never did anything right. His initial movies were a rage and they had no so-called stars to run the movie and they were like a breath of fresh air at that time. In fact, in his first movie he ridicules himself most of the time as a bear-faced guy. So, yesh, the videos are funny, but I just watch them as an artist well past his prime, who is trying to milk his 5 years of glory for the next 30 years. Hey... every place has its share of artists from all categories. The same vein, there are a whole bunch of directors who fall in this category.. Bhagyaraj, Bharatiraja, Balachander and maybe Illayaraja (hasnt come with a decent hit recently). The only difference is that these guys dont make fools of themselves in the open, but they are past their creative prime and cant recreate their magic anymore.

Oh ! இதான் topic ஆ ? ;) . Well, I reckon that he, was just a class act, a couple of decades back. Perhaps, he never held a good reputation.
Also, his son's queerness beckons cheerlessness today!
Well,Allegations at its acme!
Democratic desecration!
Raging recreation :) !

Agree with Siva and Co.
What the morons who created this blog do not realize is that :English in its purest form, is not even spoken in england today. We have so many differences of opinion for the same standard speech done in english : because when english became international, each region in the world understands it differently. This is the biggest disconnect in the world today: as what is said and intended by one set of people is not what is understood by another set of people. All this for the use of the same language. English does not capture the "soul".
T.R (if you try and understand him is a guy who speaks for the soul. Ofcourse, people who are this way come across as eccentrics and sometimes funny as well. But one should not estimate pride in ones sense of belonging as being a ridiculous attempt at english.
I am not someone who can pull up statistics and talk about T.Rs popularity and lack of it. All I can say is even though he comes across as ridiculous: THE MAN HAS SOUL. and you gotta admit: IF THERE WAS NO AUDIENCE FOR HIS FILMS : HE WOULDNT BE MAKING THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. there is a niche audience for this film... kinda like "Quick gun murugan". if you though it was funny : think again. its an 'era concept' of 'sticking it to the man'. and TR has been sticking it to the man ..like siva says: sticking in a few funny videos about him does not make it potent". it only exposes your shallowness.
I am only glad you weren't there to opine on James Brown or Mary.J. blige/ Erikah Badu. You would have called them ridiculous from day 1.
You'd rather see dark skinned heros with mustaches running around with fair skinned girls. How very mainstream!! Keep it up : Jackass.
