Here is what Congress candidate from Trivandrum Dr Shashi Tharoor has to say about the allegation that he insulted the National Anthem.

Here is what Congress candidate from Trivandrum Dr Shashi Tharoor has to say about his vision for the future of Trivandrum. This is also a reply to all those who were spreading the rumor that he cannot talk in Malayalam. In the entire 9 minutes video he talks only in Malayalam. He was talking in a function organized by Malayalam newspaper Kerala Kaumudi called “Ankathattu 09” where all the four major candidates ( PK Krishnadas of BJP, Dr Neelalohithadasan Nadar of BSP, Ramachandran Nair of CPI and Shashi Tharoor of Congress) faced the press at the same time.

First Day of Campaign of Shashi Tharoor in Trivandrum

See the video of the first day of campaign of Shashi Tharoor in Trivandrum. He is meeting the people coming out of the mosque in Palayam and meeting the Imam of the mosque. He looks liked a seasoned politician in his look and the way he interacts with the people. Here is the video of it.

See the video of Dr Tharoor kick-starting his campaign in Trivandrum Lok sabha constituency by meeting Leader K Karunakaran.

thanks for correcting Brijesh... i belong to those who spread the rumor that he cannot speak in malayalam... for a person who was not born in India, and has spent most of his life outside India, he speaks good malayalam, and that too with a good palakkad accent...
