Imran Khan – Adnan Sami of Kerala?
I must agree that music and me never go hand in hand but when I was seeing this program in youtube, I happened to watch this guy, Imran Khan and become an instant fan of him. The first round was called “elimination round”. The song this guy sung was from Keerthichakra – Khudasee – this boy has sung that magnificently may be even better than the original song. Now come to the comments by the judge. The judges had good time making fun of his overweight. What I liked in him other than his singing is the way he took all those. Another thing to keep in mind is that this boy doesn’t know any Hindi at all. The way he answered the questions from the judges is great.
Once he got through the “elimination round” his next performance was in what is called the “performance round” where the singer has to sing and perform in the stage. He selected the song “Pandimelam” from the movie Rajamanikam. His performance was just mind boggling. See this here.
Again the judges were a little rude in making fun of his weight. But the good part is he took it in good spirit. See the comments from the judges.
Now the third round was what is called “melody round” and Imran sang the Hindi song “Kal Ho Na Ho” from movie “Kal Ho Na Ho”. How good he sang this song.
